INSTITUTE OF FINANCIAL SERVICES STUDENT PHOTOGRAPHY LONDON
11/02/2013
The intention today was to cover some outdoor scenes of London with a selection of students, unfortunately a light flurry of snow and a dreary grey sky limited us to using Leadenhall Market which sits in the centre of the financial world. The rest of the days photos took place in their offices showing a variety of class room bases activities, including lectures, group discussions and one to ones with their teacher.
Kit wise I used two cameras, 135mm and 24-70mm to get a range of candids and some setting the scene wide angle photos, although dull outside the rooms have plenty of glass to lighten up the rooms, apertures ranged between F2 and 2.8 creating nicely lit images of the students with a soft out of focus backdrop, this gives the marketing team the option to overlay text in the negative spaced areas.
