BROOKLANDS MUSEUM VOLUNTEERS PORTRAITS
14/03/2013
The portraits are all following the same principle of a couple of shots and then on to the next one, all natural light without any additional lighting or aids. A lot of the images today were off of the cuff and without any notice given to the volunteers this works as well as the expressions are genuine and show the real character of the people.
The previous images were taken with the 50mm 1.2, I decided on this occasion to use the 24-70mm MK2, the wider angle gave me a little flexibility to get more of the vehicles and backgrounds in as well, creating more of a feel for the museum and the peoples work environment. Looking forward to continuing the project over the next two months and then planning an exhibition and hopefully sponsorship for a book.
