STEAMPUNK PHOTOGRAPHY SHOOT AT BROOKLANDS MUSEUM

Steven and Andrea had brought a wide variety of clothing and accessories, we split the shoot in to two halves, the first with the Steam Punk clothing and accessories and the second half with their bikes and related clothing. The Steam Punk outfits are along the lines of Victorian era clothing and the accessories add the finishing touch, space aged style guns, goggles and other items that add to the style.
Brooklands Museum makes a great backdrop and the couple knew that I had great knowledge of the environment, we used a variety of settings which included a workshop, air raid shelter, the airfield with a selection of planes as backdrops and also some interior rooms which went back to the 1940's. The 24-70mm and 50mm 1.2 lenses worked well and the addition of a single off camera speed light provided some nice fill lighting to enhance the couples clothing. The day finished off with a change of clothes and some more relaxed poses with the Honda and Moto Guzzi bikes.
