WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY QUEX PARK IN BIRCHINGTON KENT

13/04/2013
The wedding was to be held outside on the lawn at the venue where the couple were getting married under the gazebo, although their was showers forecast this was not until later on in ye day. After arriving at the venue to cover some preparation photos of Jaimie and her bridesmaids i covered the detail shots first, dress, shoes and some of venues impressive exterior. Portraits of the girls followed just prior to Joel and his best man and ushers arriving. Outside the mansion their are a row of cannons and with the guys dressed in their army outfits it seemed fitting to cover their portraits and group photos against this backdrop. The weather held out for the outdoor ceremony and with the open area of the gazebo gave me a variety of angles to shoot from, even the peacocks posed for a few photos!

I was only booked until the sit down meal but covered a lot in the four hours I was at the wedding, really pleased with the images and the coupe, looked great against the stunning venue of Quex Park. Normally the 24-70mm lens would be used for most of the day, today though I favoured the 70-200mm which is ideal for portraits and group photos, also the 2.8 allows a great creative mix of images whether close ups or from further away. Looking forward to editing allow the images now and meeting up with Joel and Jaimie when they return from their honeymoon.
