AUTO ITALIA 2013 PHOTOGRAPHY AT BROOKLANDS MUSEUM

The days highlights are the parade of cars around the Mercedes World circuit, this is a great chance for the public to see some classic cars in action as well a host of Ferrari's, Lambos and Maseratis flying down the straights among Enzo's and GTO's. Last year the weather was cloudy and with a mix of showers made the event hard work to get some colourful images from the day, fortunately today was full of sunshine and blue skies.
Also in attendance with me today was Peter Winkworth who was the Kent in Focus photographer of the year 2012, the event was sponsored by myself and other local companies and was in aid of the Pilgrims Hospice charity. Peter's prize was to work with me for a day and the chosen shoot was Auto Italia. We covered the times for the day so that Peter knew the brief and where we needed to be, including the driver and photographer briefings prior to going over to the Mercedes World track. The photos from today will be used in the motoring press and also for Brooklands to promote the event through social media and their website. The photos had to show a document of the day, plenty of cars and people enjoying the day.
