The photography was to document the training the chefs wee being given along with a series of food photographs, these would be used to show other staff across the group how to present the food and also ideas for combinations for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The new recipes also include healthy options and a variety of styles of food for variation.
As well as capturing food shots I took the opportunity to get some candids and portraits of carers and residents together, these are always useful for the marketing team so that they can refresh their current library. As ever the faithful 24-70mm lens covered the days shoot and with its shallow depth of field at F2.8 and close focusing ability it produced a nice mixture of images.
