KENT UNIVERSITY LECTURER PORTRAITS DAY TWO

05/07/2013
After nine portraits yesterday today was quieter with four lecturers/Professors to photograph. I have used just one on the blog as the 50mm really came in to its own again, with an aperture of F1.4, over exposure by 2/3rds and ISO at 800 (brings in more ambient light and eliminates too much warmth in the artificial lighting) lecturer Debbie Kemp really stood out against the book shop which is on the campus. The red dress also really made the shot and looks striking in the photograph, due to the high ISO and wide open aperture the shutter speed was at 1/640th of a second. The image that you see is straight out of camera with the cameras mode set to full manual so I could control all of the elements.
