URBAN DECAY PHOTOGRAPHY KENT
04/01/2013
The day was very overcast but did lift a little toward the end of the afternoon providing a nice muted sky, with a neutral density filter fitted on to the 24-70mm lens it gave a great amount of detail in the sky for some moody and striking exteriors of the buildings. Inside the corridors and rooms were pitch black in places so tripod and long exposures were required to lift the light inside, in places where the ceilings had rotted some natural light crept in to give a lift to the photos. It was also nice to pick up some abstract images of the broken glass and various switches and fittings.
