FESTIVAL CHAMBER ORCHESTRA 21ST ANNIVERSARY CONCERT
20/04/2013
Crowther's had asked me just to cover the drinks reception prior to the actual concert, this was very much documenting the audience, orchestra and Tracy and Ian from Crowthers chatting and also covering the spectacular interior and exterior of the new Colyer Fergusson Hall. I also covered some portraits of the lead musicians in the concert, Alison Teal plays the Oboe and Cor Anglais and is the principal player with the BBC Symphony Orchestra.
The photographs were taken on the 135mm and 24-70mm lenses, the 135mm was challenging as the guests were all close together in the reception area so I decided to keep it on for most of the time I was there, no point in making life easy. It produced some great results and also works so well of portraits due to its focal length and shallow depth of field.
